Well with the announcement that the iPhone is now down to $399 it is now one paycheck away from reality.

It seems my life is becoming more and more Apple centric (though at this point I still refuse to buy an AppleTV, I mean, thats what the $20 mini-DVI to DVI cable is for. Granted, it does YouTube and a few other things, bu honestly, I have better things to spend the $300 bucks on…. like an iPhone for Michelle).

Speaking of my lovely wife, Michelle and I are hanging out in Las Vegas this week for Photoshop World with Mélaine and Amber and we’re having a great time. I’d tell you more about it, but you know the old mantra: What happens in Vegas, gets blogged about by Bob.

However, one of the things I can tell you about it is our multiple trips to the Apple store. We stopped by on Monday (man, was it crazy) and we sat through a demo on the new iLife ’08. Man that was great stuff. Mélaine and I have been using our MacBooks the past few weeks as we pod & vodcasted for our EDU 205 / 505 class that we are team teaching and its been a breeze to get things done. iLife ’08 takes all that to a whole new level and even gives us a few more options. So many options in fact, I actually broke down and paid for a .mac account to do a collaborative photo assignment we have in store for our students. Fun stuff.

So as a way of being lazy and getting the rest of our Chicago pictures out on time, here’s the 20 second gallery that iPhoto tossed together for me.
