The Blog: Laments From La Mancha

I look back over my blog for the past 10 days or so and I ask myself, “Self, where did the time go?”

To be completely honest, I have no idea.

I have lots of fun things to write about and I just haven’t had time to do them. I guess that dreaded thing called work has finally taken over my day and I am compelled to fill my hours working.

Alas, all is not forgotten.

It is my hope today that I will have a break in the meetings to finish out the rest of my postings and keep you all up to date on those trival things I like to call my life.

Michelle, Dafyd, Jace and I all had the chance to head out to the dollar theater on the south side of Fort Wayne (aka Coventry 13) to see Lemony Snicket.

I have to say that I really enjoyed that movie.

Jace was bound and determined that he wasn’t going to like it. In fact, if you were to ask him today if he liked it, he would say no. But then he would proceed to tell in you in startling detail and with great enthusiasm all about the film. Dafyd just thought it was cool.

I had heard that Jim Carrey was WAY over the top in this movie, but I thought that he did a fine job. In fact, after we saw the movie (we have since purchased the DVD that has come out since I originally started this entry), we bought the first 3 books to take home and read.

If haven’t had a chance to pick this up, well, it’s the next best thing to Harry Potter (another one of my secret pleasures).
