I’m not even supposed to be here today
Well folks, the jig is up. The long dance of deceit is over. I am not who I say I am.
Bob Soulliere does not exist. He never did. Only one among you was sharp enough to see through the thin vale of my facade, but now, I can hide my true identity no longer.
My real name is Kevin Smith. I’m and actor, writer and film director. My association with you all over the past years have been nothing more than a covert operation to steal you lives and personalities for my various projects. I’m sorry for any hurt I might have caused you.
Like Superman, I used glasses as a disguise, when I wore them, I was Kevin, when I removed them, I became simply known as Bob (or Silent Bob as the case may be).
Hopefully we can all still be friends. Oh, buy my movie Clerks X, it came out on Tuesday.

I’m sorry that I don’t like your movies, but we can still be friends.
But I should mention that I loved your run on the Daredevil comic book. That was one of the best comic runs ever.
You probably didn’t carry my Bluntman and Cronic comics either… but I did notice some Clerks figures, so thanks for stocking those.
Do you often come to Lansing in the guise of a one “Ash Harris”?
Ash is more like a cousin than an alter-ego
No, your comics do sell well, but they are also one of our most highly shoplifted items.
Your fans give you a bad rap.
Kevin Who?
